Our party of four all totally enjoyed our dining experience at the Bangkok View! The service was wonderful, the staff kind and helpful. The food was out of this world delicious! I cannot wait to visit Grand Rapids again so that I can stop in for dinner at The Bangkok View again.

This restaurant is one of my favorites. The food is so good and I love the pad thai. Two different kinds for the lunch buffet. The restaurant owner Brenda is constantly cleaning and waiting on people. She is very friendly. She has been asked to teach her cooking techniques in a sponsored D&W class put on by some ver elite chefs here in Grand Rapids. She is an awesome cook.

Hands down the best Thai restaurant in Grand Rapids and the surrounding area. Their pad thai especially stands out from the rest, and they will make it all veggie if you ask, which is delicious. Their buffet is usually crowded every day for lunch, for good reason. The couple who own and run Bangkok View are also very friendly, and I miss them and their food when they make their yearly trip back to visit family and friends. This is a great restaurant for people who have loved thai food for years, and a wonderful introduction for people who are first trying it out. I'm whimpy about spices, and they always make it actually mild. Most other Thai restaurants won't - the fancy new place downtown made it too hot three times on one visit, and I finally just asked for my money back. The prices are great too, and in my opinion they could charge much more than they do for the quality of food they serve.

I have had Tai food from several places, and none of them measure up to Bangkok View. The hot & sour soup and Pad Tai are the best you'll ever have. I've never had anything I didn't love at Bangkok View.
