As a Realtor for Houlihan Lawrence and as a long time resident I love to show off our Town of Bedford park facilities. The Town Of Bedford has three gorgeous parks - one in each Hamlet. They are in : Bedford Village, Bedford Hills and Katonah. Each one has playing fields, Tennis Courts, full size & Kiddie Pools, snack bars, Summer Concerts and Summer Day Camps. I especially enjoy The Katonah Memorial Park. I happen to live in Katonah and it is a wonderful addition to the lifestyle which we enjoy. Set up on a Hill over the town in a residential area, the park is a gem. There is a new striking pool house with men's and women's locker rooms and baths. There is the Snack bar and a covered area for a Ping Pong Table. The setting is lush. The Town has also invested in beach chairs and chaise lounges plus Town of Bedford umbrellas, therefore there is an attractive cohesive look to the green space around the pool. Plus no chairs to lug from the car! Unless it is The Fourth of July....The wonderful Town Day Camps are held up another hill adjacent to the ball fields. The excited campers descend that hill on their way to swim time and at the end of their days as they meet their families either to return to the pool or home. I have many happy memories of the Katonah Pool and it seems only to get more beautiful. I now continue to enjoy the pool for my laps, some sun and precious reading time along with a bit of neighborly conversation and then home!
