I was a member for 5 years. About a week ago, for the first time, I forgot to bring my swipe card. Unfortunately I must have run into the same rude/nasty manager that the first reviewer did. She gave me three options, no work out or pay $2 for a replacement card. I can not over emphasize this was not a pleasant, customer focused individual. I was amazed that after having my monthly fee automatically withdrawn every month for 5 years that I would not be allowed to check in by showing ID one time. I asked if she was willing to lose my membership over two dollars. She didnt care. I resigned.



On top of the rude staff (she's not the only one), the place is dirty and smells, the men's locker room is gross, overcrowding is a problem, much of the equipment is barely operational (some will be down for repair, others like treadmills and ellipticals will slip, make strange noises, or have loose parts), and the atmosphere is one of the worst I've experienced. Other Planet Fitness locations are better in my experience (I've used the ones in Milford and Orange).



Do yourself a favor and stay away from the Trumbull location, you'll be glad you did.

I joined about 6 months ago.

Then I read in the paper that some guy is videotaping people in the locker room!

As soon as I read that I went down to cancel my membership.

THE MANAGER COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE RUDE!

She insisted on charging me a cancellation fee. I told her your employee is taping customers change! Give me my money back!

She was rude and nasty. I was shocked!

Stay away unless you want to see yourself on the internet someday changing your clothes.

The manager should be fired!
